Where it All Started
Since 2018 Blackwing USA has been providing security jobs for military veterans, and we also devote much of our time to coordinating patriotic events, such as national anthem performances, joint service color guards, and military fly-overs. Co-founded in 2012, formerly known as Blackwing Operations, Blackwing was created as a military training program modeled after the U.S. Navy SPECWAR Challenge course.
While attending graduate school at Texas Tech University, Ellis, an avid swimmer and extreme poly-athlete, made his decision at the young age of 34 to join the US Navy. From 2012 to 2020, Ellis spent his time in the Navy developing his skills in the areas of aviation, transportation and security. Following an honorable discharge in 2021, Ellis set out to create an organic organization with an ethos that upheld everything he loved about his time in the military. Ellis wanted to create something that not only honored the things he loved, but also providing security to protect the things that he loved. Building on the training blocks and his military experiences, Blackwing USA was born. We believe in a roundtable philosophy once you become a part of the Blackwing USA team. This means we all work together to coordinate and successfully navigate and execute every operation we have.

Safety
Nothing is more important than our clients safety. We begin every operation with a Safety and Risk Assessment to determine our clients and officers needs for success. The Blackwing USA Team has built a strong foundation on safety, from CPR and First Aid training, to on-site Safety Officers, we begin preparing for success from Day One. Our Safety Officers are unarmed officers trained to work in the field performing a wide variety of duties. Security
We strive to provide the highest quality Security Officers in the industry while offering a wide variety of services to our clients. Our Security Officers are required to go above and beyond the state requirements to serve on the Blackwing USA Security Team. By setting our training standards higher than other companies, we can offer our clients premium security and transportation services, as well as offering security officers with worldwide assignability.
